b) How many locations do you have in Calgary and nationally/internationally? What locations are hiring locally in Calgary and area?
80 + locations; new ones to open this year in various locations. My store is not located in Calgary, but candidates can apply to Calgary, and areas or any other locations across the country directly. They are also hiring for various positions.

c) How many people does your organization employ? How many locally?
We employ 15-20 in the winter and 45 to 50 in the summer.

Full time seasonal (summer) and full time/part time permanent.

We are family focused. We support our community families to promo and assist in educational, athletic, and health programs that matter to our neighborhoods.
We support our work families. Open communication and well-being of the staff is very important to us and this philosophy is reflected in our Occupational Health and Safety Policies and programs. We encourage community participation and volunteerism in activities such as attending and helping with community events- Community Dinners, Dark Sky Festival, Jasper in January Street Party, Folk Fest; etc, and fundraising for various causes.

h) What are some examples of entry level positions?
Summer Positions and wages (regular term: May to September/October, 2020)
  • Cooks - $17 to $20/hour, depending on experience and ability; 2 or more years commercial cooking experience.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Reading orders and cook dishes following company recipes; ensure preparation and presentation of food is up to or exceed company standards; prepares foods such as pasta, rice, salads, gravy; kitchen housekeeping; inventory and stocking of kitchen items, manage deliveries; follow food safety rules; careful record keeping; communicates with the team and reports to supervisors.

  • Kitchen Helpers - $15.50/hour, no experience necessary.
Duties including but not limited to:
Washing dishes, housekeeping dish area and kitchen; organize and put away deliveries; operate kitchen equipment safely; prepare ingredients for cooking; assist cooks in completing simple dishes; follow food safety rules.
Kitchen helper has opportunity to be promoted to cook and there will be wage increases as one progress. Starting wage for cook trainees is $15.50 - $16/hour.
  • Food and Beverage Servers - $15/hour + tips
Greet, seat patrons, and present menus + relay specials of the day; answer questions and make suggestions; take and relay orders to kitchen, and serve food; ensure positive patron experience;
present bills, and process payment; clear and set tables; housekeep server areas; supervise bus persons
  • Hostess/Cashiers - $15/hour + tips
Greet, seat customers and present menus and relay specials; answers phone; process payments; clear, clean and set tables; assist servers and managers in providing excellent service

j) Describe your hiring and interview process?
We will look over the resumes and your plans. Suitable candidates will be invited to a 30 – 45 minus video Skype interview.

Someone who would enjoy a small mountain town and working with a diverse team. Friendly, reliable, attention to details, possessing a strong willingness to learn and to communicate.

l) What type of education/training/equipment do you require?
None. Some experience an asset, but we provide excellent training.

$15 - $15.50/hour

o) What are the hours of the business and general shift times? Are there a minimum number of hours someone needs to work per week? Is there flexibility regarding school schedules?
Store work hours: 6:30am – 10:30 pm split into 2 shifts.

p) Is a uniform provided or do employees have to pay for it?
We provide most uniforms. FOH need their own black pants and black closed-toe shoes.
