THE POSITION

Specific Duties
Provide exceptional customer service to all guests.
Make recommendations and point campers in the right direction for guests inquiring about near-by amenities and attractions in Calgary and surrounding areas.
Take reservations over the phone and maintain the campground reservation system.  Accurate data entry and inputting of guest information is crucial.
Ensuring that the campground store is stocked with all the necessary supplies.  
Take inventory and ordering stock as needed
Maintain the cleanliness of the campground store, washrooms and laundry facilities.
 Perform opening, closing and on-going operational duties of the campground. 
Perform cash handling responsibilities.

THE POSITION
Reporting directly to the Grounds Maintenance Supervisor, Grounds Maintenance workers provide a pleasant outdoor environment by ensuring that the grounds of Calaway Park are attractive, orderly, and healthy. 

Responsibilities vary with the seasons.  Work begins with spring cleaning of the park grounds and progresses to the use of a variety of machinery from forklift to cutting equipment and plant maintenance. 

This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in horticulture.
Wage: $15.75-$17.00/Hour
Shift time is from 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. 5 days a week
This position is available May – August


Specific Responsibilities 

Internal and external garbage pickup
Sweep walkways of debris
Cut lawn using hand, power or riding mower and trim and edge around walks, flower beds, and walls.
Water plants and grass as needed and apply fertilizer
Trim shrubs and pull weeds
Rake, mulch and prune the grounds as needed
Operation of variety of equipment such as forklift, ride-on mowers, push mowers, weed whackers, pruning equipment (trained on site)

Specific Responsibilities

Order Picker:
Stock shelves and face items
Maintain inventory records
Physically and electronically pick food supply orders
Record and report internal use items
Complete all required paperwork


Order Receiver/Merchandiser/Cleaner:
Physically receive shipments and goods in warehouse loading dock
Electronically receive items in ERP to the assigned purchase orders
Report all receiving deficiencies to the supervisor
Inspect shipments and goods for damage and product integrity
Stage shipments for warehousing
Complete all required paperwork
Perform general cleaning duties


YOU ARE….
Candidates must demonstrate basic mathematics, attention to detail, sound judgment, computer literacy, time management skills and initiative.
Applicants must be able to perform opening, closing and on-going operational duties and are responsible to keep the Food Warehouse clean, organized and safe.
Applicants must be efficient, mature and able to work independently as well as part of a team. 
They must enjoy physical work and be comfortable and competent to be trained on company vehicles and equipment such as the fork lift and pallet jack. 
Applicants must have their learner’s license at a minimum. Driver’s license is an asset.

THE POSITION
This position is a seasonal, full-time leadership position dedicated to supervising 25-75 employees daily (depending on department) and focusing on relationship building within the team.  Healthy communication and the desire to enhance the working relationship with young employees is a major part of the position.  As well, safety; increasing sales; reducing cost of sales; on-going coaching; training and recognition; guest service; product quality; cleanliness; efficiency; corporate goals; department goals; and the corporate mission are also included in the responsibilities.

Coaching Responsibilities:
Give coaching and feedback to all employees, positive and constructive.
Complete all necessary recognition paperwork.
Provide input into department recognition programs.
Train employees in your department in all necessary areas according to specific training programs.  Participate as a trainer in large group training sessions, as well as small group or one-on-one training.

Operational Responsibilities:
Be on time and ensure that all areas of responsibility open on time.


Supervise opening, closing and on-going operation of department area.

THE POSITION
Reporting directly to the Controller, this position is dedicated to maintaining strong internal controls over daily revenues and safeguarding against loss. Properly accounting for park cash receipts and sales transactions on a daily basis.
Wage: $15.75/Hour

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct business in a courteous and friendly manner within a diverse team environment.
Complete tasks such as auditor reports, cash summaries, bank deposits, sales reconciliation, float re-building and manage cash and change in revenue locations.
General cash handling duties are required, as well as completing cash reconciliations, vault float reconciliations, float control forms and preparing bank deposits.  
Previous cash handling experience is preferred.  

Maintain the confidentiality of company financial and employee information.
Safeguard park assets, including currency, cash, tickets, keys and property.
Perform duties as directed by management.
Utilize efficient time management and organizational skills to complete daily tasks in an accurate and timely manner.

THE POSITION
To operate assigned rides safely & efficiently, provide excellent Guest Service, follow schedules, maintain a clean, safe environment for guests and team members, and work toward the benefit of the company.
Wage: $14.00/Hour
Specific Responsibilities:
Perform opening, closing and on-going operational duties at ride locations, as outlined in the Rides General and Technical manuals.
Accurately measure the height of every guest; enforcing height, weight, and all rider restrictions consistently.  
Load rides to full capacity without sacrificing guest service.   
Physically check every restraint to ensure it is secured before starting your ride.
Conduct a 3-Second Safety Check prior to starting your ride for every cycle.  This includes visually confirming that guests have not undone their restraints, that there is no one within the ride area, that the entrance and exit gates are closed, and that the guests in the queue line are behaving appropriately.  Get a ‘Thumbs Up’ from all guests on your ride.  
Maintain constant visual contact with the guests on the ride and in the immediate area at all times that the ride is in motion.
Notify Security immediately of any unusual circumstances occurring at your ride.
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work area at all times.
Follow procedures for the safe operation of each ride.  Notify leaders of any safety concerns.
Follow cleaning and WHMIS procedures and practice safe use of cleaning products.


Complete required documentation accurately (ie: Ride Operation Forms).

11. Be fast and friendly!  Serve guests efficiently, by moving quickly to minimize the length of time the guest must wait to have their needs met, while being friendly and professional.
12. Go out of your way to help guests with directions, choices, etc.

14. Make cleanliness a priority, keeping your work station clean and organized.
15. Communicate professionally with leaders, teammates and guests. Practice formal communication at your work station.
