What are some entry level career opportunities that your organization offers?

Leasehand; This is an entry level position primarily responsible for keeping the rig site clean and performing general maintenance. The Leasehand also provides assistance to other rig personnel, as required, while gaining knowledge of Ensign's safety culture, drilling rig equipment and systems. Safety is the top priority for all drilling rig personnel.

Well Servicing Floorhand: Perform general labourer duties on rigs that drill oil and gas wells and case wells with pipe.

Gas Test Assistant Operator: Operation, maintenance and cleaning of well testing equipment in remote locations. Can be assigned to either day or night shift. Perform job functions as directed. Accurate gathering of well data. Works closely with related services. Post job maintenance of equipment.

Underbalanced Drilling Junior Operator: To assist in rigging up, operating, maintaining, tearing down and moving an UBD/MPD pressure unit.

Opsco Assistant Operator (Gas test): Operation, maintenance and cleaning of well testing equipment in remote locations. Can be assigned to either day or night shift. Perform job functions as directed. Accurate gathering of well data. Works closely with related services. Post maintenance of equipment.

Slickline Assistant: This is an entry level opportunity. Under close supervision, the Slickline Assistant is accountable for assisting in operation and rigging of downhole tools, and various equipment such as, pickers and wireline trucks.

Wireline Assistant: This is an entry level opportunity. Under close supervision, the Wireline Assistant is accountable for assisting in operation and rigging of downhole tools, and various equipment such as pickers and wireline trucks.
