We are in the manufacturing/environmental business where we are engaged in the recovery of materials in the whole recycling process. In Calgary, we get all the recyclable materials such as paper, plastics, cardboards etc. and we put them together and ship them so that they can be converted to recyclable materials.
Does your organization have other locations besides Calgary?
Yes, we have a Plant in Edmonton and other plants in British Columbia in various locations such as Surrey, Vancouver, Prince George, Kelowna, Victoria, Nanaimo. We also have a plant in Winnipeg. Other plants are located in the East such as Ottawa, Toronto and NY.
How many employees does your organization employ?
1200, with 114 at the Calgary plant.

We offer both Full time and Part time positions. At the Plant, we normally have more Full time than Part time positions.

We advertise all our positions on our website as well as other websites such as Monster, Workopolis, Job Bank, Linked In, Kijiji and Craigslist. Once the position is posted, you can apply by sending your resume by email. Once we review the resume, I book an interview with you. Once you qualify for the first interview we move on to the second interview and final interview.

The main thing we look for is reliability and attendance as well as your attitude towards work.
What type of education/training/equipment do you require?
For the frontline staff, they have to be above 18 years of age and have some high school. Maintenance staff should have some mechanical aptitude, while admin staff should have a minimum of college and good Microsoft skills.
How old does someone have to be to work for your company?
At least 18 years of age.
How much will employees get paid?
Positions start paying at $12/ hour in Sortline, Maintenance at $15 per hour and Admin at $16 per hour.
