We have 1 location in Calgary. Standard General Calgary was acquired by Colas Canada Limited in 2002. The Colas Group has operations globally.

We are holding a open house at
our office on April 15th where hiring managers will be doing on the
spot interviews.
Describe your hiring and interview process?
Our HR department conducts phone interviews with most of our applicants.
Depending on the role you may have a second phone interview or an in-person
interview with the hiring supervisor for that role.
We are looking for individuals that want to be a part of our team.
Most of our employees do require a driver’s license and access to a
vehicle as our office and our work locations usually don’t have transit
access. However if you don’t have this
it is best to talk with one of our HR team members.
We also provide safety training to our employees.
17 is our minimum age for hiring.
Provide a wage range for entry level positions.
$20-22 per hour.
As most of our positions are seasonal, the majority of our work is completed from May to November. We usually work 5-6 days per week. Shifts usually range from 8-12 hours days, sometimes there may be longer days.
Is a uniform provided or do employees have to pay for it?
We require our employees to
have a pair of steel toed boots. All
other PPE is provided by us!
