How many locations do you have in Calgary and nationally/internationally? What locations are hiring locally in Calgary and area? We are located at the junction of highway 11 and highway 93 on the Icefields parkway in the Banff National Park. That's 85 km north of Lake Louise.
How many people does your organization employ? How many locally? In peak periods, June to October we have up to 85 employees.
What type of positions do you offer? (ex. Full time, part time, seasonal, contract etc.) Gas station attendant, kitchen helper, dishwasher, sous chef, café attendant, housekeeper, cashier for General Store, waitperson, basically all resort based jobs.
What are the benefits of working for your company? Staff discounts, incentive programs, scholarships etc. We offer Room and Board at a very cheap price which includes all meals snacks and a shared room. All bedding and food is supplied all you really need is your personal belongings. Staff receive a 20% discount on all purchases at the resort. Tips are included in lots of areas.
Describe opportunities for advancement. All associates are given evaluations monthly and if deserving will receive a raise or a promotion if available.

hiring and interview process? We are always looking for
employees, it is seldom we are fully staffed. Once resume is received and
reviewed applicant will receive a phone call or e-mail to set up an interview.
What do you look for in an employee? Reliable, have some initiative and punctual. Openly social is a great quality as we all live at the resort.
What type of education/training/equipment do you require? Equipment for the jobs is provided. Training is provided on the job.
What is the minimum age required to work for your company? Are there different age requirements for different positions? All areas require you to be 18 years of age (some exceptions apply)
Provide a wage range for entry level positions. $15 to $17 dollars/hour plus tips depending on position.
What are the hours of the business and general shift times? Are there a minimum number of hours someone needs to work per week? Is there flexibility regarding school schedules? All associates work a 6 day 7.3 hour/day. Shifts vary from 7am to 11pm.
Is a uniform
provided or do employees have to pay for it? Uniforms
are provided however most areas require you have your own jeans.
