What is your hiring process / How can one apply?
Apply online or in person at any location. Fill out an application and assessment questions. Once this has been completed, individuals will be called in for an interview at that location by a manager.
Depending on various factors including availability. An initial interview will be conducted by the hiring manager and then a second interview with the Restaurant Manager. If everything goes well, the Restaurant Manager will ask the candidate for references and make an appropriate hiring decision.

What type of education/training/equipment do you require?
None. We provide paid training which starts as soon as you join the team. Crew trainers, managers and other employees will work with you to show you the ropes, and training continues as you advance through the McDonald's system. We work hard to promote a positive coaching environment to help you develop to your full potential.
How old does someone have to be to work for your company?
15 years of age.
How much will employees get paid?
Our wages differ with provinces and even cities as well as franchise and company stores. We are always very competitive with our wages. In Calgary, our company stores (non-franchise) pay above minimum wage.

Ronald McDonald House Charities is our biggest initiative where 10¢ of every happy meal goes to the RMHC. We also have various other events throughout the year (McHappy Day as an example) where we raise additional funds for the RMHC. This is on a national level.
