PWM is registered with the Alberta Construction Safety Association and possesses a Certificate of Recognition.  We have our own Corporate Health and Safety Coordinator who is an Alberta Certified Peer Health & Safety Auditor, and can conduct peer audits for Alberta Construction Safety Association member companies. PWM and/or its Managers are members of the Building Owners and Management Association (BOMA), ASIS International, and The Loss Prevention Foundation. PWM is also a Corporate Member of the Alberta Association of Private Investigators and the International Foundation of Protection Officers (IFPO).  We are accredited with Contractor Check.

Incorporated in 2005, PWM is one of the fastest growing full service, private security firms in Alberta; priding itself in exceeding Clients’ expectations each and every time.

With our Corporate Office located in Calgary, Alberta, and with branch offices in Edmonton and Medicine Hat, PWM is strategically poised to deliver high quality security personnel for all of our clients’ needs. Our core mandate is to provide quality Site Security personnel with a focus on customer service.  We are qualified, experienced, and comfortable in servicing large environments.


c) How many people does your organization employ? How many locally?
PWM employs up to 500 security personnel in the Province of Alberta.  We currently have 350 security personnel that service our clients in Calgary.

Full time, part time, seasonal, special events (ex. Stampede)

i) Describe your hiring and interview process?

PWM will provide all candidates that come to our office an interview.   This interview is conducted by our appointed Human Resources or senior management personnel.   The application is reviewed and may be decided at that time if the candidate will be hired.   All candidates accepted by interview will be scheduled to orientation class held at a later date.  After orientation the candidates will meet with a manager responsible to provide the new employee a work site.  Each time, we ensure that every candidate remember a positive experience and we aim at increasing the desire for everyone to join our friendly team of professionals.
