Solium has been in business since 1999.

Solium employs approximately 500 people globally, of which 250 are based in Calgary.

Describe your hiring and interview process?
Submit an online application as a first step. If you are being considered for a position, the next step is a phone screen (an interview over the phone). After that, expect one (or more) face to face interviews. The final step involves a criminal record check, verifying your education and calling your references.
What do you look for in an employee?
We're looking for motivated, dedicated team players who can provide our customers with smarter software, remarkable service and relationships built on trust and reliability.
What type of education/training/equipment do you require?
A degree or a diploma. Our company is in both the Financial and IT sectors, with heavy focus on customer service. Training or experience in any of those three areas is an asset.
What is the minimum age required to work for your company? Are there different age requirements for different positions?
18 and older.
Provide a wage range for entry level positions.
Depending on the candidate's level of experience and skill, you could reasonably expect a starting base salary between $35,000- $40,000. Our students typically earn an hourly wage between $20-$25/hour, again dependent upon their level of previous experience and their education.
What are the hours of the business and general shift times? Are there a minimum number of hours someone needs to work per week? Is there flexibility regarding school schedules?
The majority of positions are full-time and require the individual to work forty hours per week during a standard five day work week (Monday-Friday).
Is a uniform provided or do employees have to pay for it?
There is no uniform, we have a casual work environment.
