We have six locations in Calgary and two locations and a wine cellar in Edmonton. We also operate three Starbucks locations in Calgary. We are always looking for great people to join our team at all of our locations.

Staff discounts, incentive programs, scholarships etc. Sunterra Market has an excellent benefits program for employees. We offer 50% off select prepared foods when enjoyed in-store. Full-time Team Members also receive a 25% discount on all Sunterra purchases and part-time Team Members receive a 10% discount on all Sunterra purchases. This discount applies at our Starbucks locations as well.
We also offer an insurance benefit plan, health spending account, RESP contribution and special gifts on anniversary dates.

Candidates are encouraged to submit a resume. We also have an application form for candidates to fill out. Interviewees typically complete two interviews in the process. Once hired we have a two day orientation that Team Members must attend.

Required education and training depends on the position the candidate is applying for. We hire some of our customer service team with no previous experience. Our line cooks, chefs, meat cutters, bakers and managers do require previous experience in a related field.

Our youngest employee is 14. Some of our locations serve alcohol. To work in these positions, Team Members need to be 18 and have their Pro Serve.

As per new legislation our minimum wage for employees under 18 years old is $13 / hour. 18 and over remains at $15 / hour.

Hours depend on the location. Some of our locations are open 6:00 am – 6:00 pm and others are open 8:00 am – 9:00 pm. The hours for each location are posted on our website. We ask our Team Members to work at least two shifts per week, approximately 4-8 hours per shift. We have many Team Members who are students and we work to accommodate their schedules.
