Trico Centre was established in 1983, as the Family Leisure Centre. In 2008, we rebranded as Trico Centre for Family Wellness. We have been in business for 35 years, and are still going strong!

• Hourly Roles: Lifeguard/swim instructor, recreation instructor (preschool arts/crafts, gym, dance, gymnastics), fitness instructor, fitness monitor, child care attendants, guest services attendants, skating instructors and huge opportunities for summer and holiday day camp leaders.
• We have a great contingent of full-time staff who been with us for an extended period of time – do not have a lot of turnover here. These roles are generally posted as required.

Once a candidate responds to a job posting by sending a resume and cover letter, selected candidates are contacted for an interview. During this process, we will review the candidates resume, certifications (if applicable), and references will be checked. From there, chosen candidate(s) will be offered a position.
j. What do you look for in an employee?
At Trico Centre, we require all employees to provide a vulnerability sector security and police check, and to have a current Standard First Aid and CPR C certificate.
We are seeking reliable, individuals who enjoy working with the public and children. You should have great communication skills, and have high engagement in the position.
k. What type of education/training/equipment is required?
All employees are required to have a current Standard First Aid/CPR C certification. Other education/training/equipment is job specific and varies between positions at Trico Centre.

The minimum age for some volunteer positions is ages 13 and up (with parental or legal guardian consent).
